In a biological pool the bathing area has to be separated always from the plant area. For the first time, wooden separation walls were installed. The photo shows the biological pool of architectural tracing with separation walls in wood. In general, this technique is for technical reasons applied mainly in biological pools of small size and more architectonical design.<\/p>\n
The separation of the bath zone from the plant zone is one of the most obvious features of all biologically treated pools. It prevents that bathers’ movement disturbe the plants or even raise substrates.<\/p>\n
For biological pools are known at least two forms of separation. The so-called floating wall, a liner curtain raised by the buoyancy of a tubular buoy at the top, and the underwater bench, a stonework wall covered with liner.<\/p>\n
All forms of separation have in common, independent if they are floating walls, lined block walls or even wooden walls, to end 50 cm below the water level.<\/p>\n<\/div>
