Planaria is an animal rarely visible in biological pools, even if there were many there. But it is a species widely used in scientific biology laboratories. This species can be cut into pieces, and each piece can regenerate into a complete organism! What sounds brutal has greatly helped scientists to better understand the biology and function of cells. In general, Planaria is a very famous “model organism”, which is why it is used in many laboratories around the world to investigate the function of genes and other fundamental processes for any living being.<\/p>\n
