It is inserted in a rural property, surrounded by a cork oak grove that extends to the horizon. The biological pool consists of a simple circle.

It’s this simple setup that gets a lot of attention. Water mirrors in the landscape are always attractive, they reflect the sky, clouds and the environment around them. Thus, they are different every day and every hour.

The round circle, delimiting the outer edge, inside the biological pool houses, like all the others too, a swimming area that extends from one side to the other. In other words, it takes advantage of its maximum distance to guarantee a long swimming lane that ends in a 1.30 m deep platform next to the edge, configured as a false infinity.

As an entrance there is a central staircase in bush-hammered granite stone, flanked by submerged benches on both sides. The separation walls are built in masonry and lined and serve, along their entire length, as submerged benches that accompany the swimming lane. The outer edge of this biological pool is finished in stone slabs, which give it a very elegant appearance.

On the two lateral sides, plant zones extend. These shelter only submerged species and water lilies. This biological pool has no banks and therefore no riparian plants. This mere fact underlines the simplicity of the design… a perfect circle that reflects the World.

home / news

[102

post-7138","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
["GET
