A rectangular pattern might make sense, but the story doesn’t necessarily have to end there. There can be much more interesting ideas that combine the desired features with an unusual aspect.

The biological pool shown in the photo does indeed have a long swimming lane, accompanied by two geometric wings that house oxygenating plants. These are positioned to help receive impurities and dust that fall to the surface of the water and are carried by the wind to the plants. There, they become biomass, feeding the plants. From the separating walls, which serve as benches, we can get closer to the plants and, with luck, there’s a frog perched on the leaves, or we can accept the challenge of smelling a water lily flower.

A comfortable entrance via stairs, finished in bush-hammered granite, connects to the water up to a 1.30 m deep platform where users can still stand. From there, one can swim. The staircase is also accompanied by a submerged bench, which allows a view over the water feature and the surrounding garden. Outside, a large wooden deck invites to relax near the water. Yes, a formal design, but quite interesting and very elegant.

home / news

[102

post-8824","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
["GET
