Vida Pura

Vida Pura is an ecological and family-friendly retreat nestled in the Seixe Valley, close to the village of Odeceixe and its wonderful beach. It offers various types of self-catering accommodation, each with a unique interior design. Since the enterprise expanded to an adjacent property, it now also boasts a uniquely designed biological swimming pond, fed by the clear waters of the stream. Integrated into the nature of the Costa Vicentina, it provides a destination for more sustainable holidays.

The biological pond has a very organic shape and is large, with its 430 square meters inviting guests for dips and much more. A large, semi-circular staircase offers comfortable entry and space to rest in the water. A walkway allows for diving and provides access to the deep end, while a wooden bridge crosses an inlet, very close to the plant zone. Framed within this bridge is a shallow bathing basin for the little ones. Finally, a rock island provides a place to relax in the middle of the water and observe the aquatic life.

In addition to this, Vida Pura also hosts health and wellness retreats and organizes workshops, among other activities. The associated farm operates on biodynamic principles and is home to various animals: donkeys, dogs, cats, ducks, and chickens. The nature of this project is communal, and profits are reinvested into local initiatives, such as the organic vegetable garden in local schools.
