When you think of biological pools, you would never imagine that an IT specialist would have anything to do with them. But this is exactly the case since we designed a remote monitoring system for our biological pools.
For some years now, we have been equipping biological pools with sensor buoys, capable of transmitting water quality data to our computer system. As there are already many of our projects, carried out in the last 3 decades, data collection quickly covers large amounts of data.
Reason to hire an IT specialist who knows how to manage this multitude of information, Dr. Sergio Silva from Easysensing. The idea behind it was to control and interpret the data collected, in order to verify whether they are within the normal standard or, for whatever reason, are outside the desirable range. If this is the case repeatedly, the system sends alerts that allow you to enter into dialogue with the owners and, if necessary, take action.
This remote monitoring allows us as biopool designers to stay “in close contact” with the biopool over time, observe its behavior and performance, and help troubleshoot problems if necessary. This helps maintain the water quality and good condition of the biological pool, thanks to a great job of computer work and regular monitoring of the data sent to the biological pools back office.
