»Our children need more nature and less smartphones«, with these words inaugurated Prince Juan Carlos of the Netherlands the ninth edition of the international congress on biologically treated pools in Leeuwarden, North Holland.

About 200 participants from 5 continents and 20 countries participated in the excursions, workshops and lectures and exchanged impressions and experiences in the different social events of the congress. From Portugal, 8 people participated, never before were so many, which indicates the growing interest in this ecological equipment of leisure and recreation and environmental education.

The next international congress will be held in Poland in 2019.
