Biological pools are easily included in the UN Agenda 2030 and their sustainable development goals (SDGs), which Portugal also signed.
The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development consists of 17 SDGs and was approved in September 2015 by 193 members, resulting from the joint work of governments and citizens around the world to create a new global model to end poverty, promoting prosperity and well-being for all, protecting the environment and combating climate change.
They are available here.
Biological pools contribute especially to SDGs number 3,6, 13 and 15.
