After 20 years, a new generation of Solar sauna has recently been created, with more noble materials and more modern finishes. The heating works CO2-neutral, it does not need more energy for its heating than sunlight.

The operation of the solar sauna continues as is. Solar energy, i.e. light penetrating the glass, turns into heat and warms the interior of the solar sauna on sunny days. Special panels and specific thermal insulation help maintain the temperature, even after sunset.

The first two prototypes of Solar sauna, projects of our authorship, were created in 1997 and 1998 and worked perfectly over time. Over the last 20 years, several have been created, all of them carried out by our partner SHBio, Lda. and always in context with a biological pool. Over the years the project has evolved a lot. All experience from this collaboration went into the development of the new model, presenting a more modern, comfortable and versatile Solar sauna.

The combination of a Solar sauna with a biological pool is a differentiator. The biological pool can function as a cold plunge tank after hot bathing in the sauna. Thus, the Solar sauna can extend the use of the biological pool in the coldest season of the year.
