Bio Piscinas, Lda. has the great honor to accept the invitation to contribute to the LIFE RELICT project.

The project was born out of the desire to preserve a rare habitat in Europe, dominated by plants that witnessed the forests of laurissilva that occupied the Iberian Peninsula in past geological times when the climate was tropical. In this situation still exist the rare Portugal laurel and Rhododendron sites.
This project was composed by the University of Évora, the Municipalities of Seia and Monchique, a local development association (ADRUSE) and a Spanish research center (CICYTEX).

The designers of Bio Piscinas, Lda. will contribute to the LIFE RELICT project with their knowledge regarding the existing Rhododendron sites (Rhododendron ponticum baeticum) of the ravines in the county of Aljezur.
