Springtime

Every year again, Spring surprises us. Suddenly, life awakens, whether it be from the animal kingdom or the plant kingdom. We can almost see how the plants grow and gain height within a few days. So many flowers, it seems like they all appear at once. So many little birds that we can observe. The sunniest days release a fabulous light that enchants us after so many gray days, spent indoors for longer periods of time. The fantastic blue sky!

The first sign is certainly the nocturnal songs of the frogs that fill the landscape, even on still quite cold nights. This activity is related to beginning of the breeding season for these animals. Suddenly we recognize, through our ears, the location of water points, ponds, dams or lakes in the landscape, because their songs echo in the night.

And in the biological pool? What’s going on over there? For frogs, the biological pool is the ideal habitat and from there they will announce the arrival of Spring. The plants on the banks are coming out of their winter sadness, as they are all perennial species, they are putting out new shoots and leaves, they look “brand new”. From the depths of the water, water lilies launch their first leaves to the surface, much appreciated by the frogs who love to land on them.

As temperatures rise, nature releases all its strength to invest in growth and development processes. Within days, the diversity of plant species that the biological pool houses will return. At the end of spring, the biological pool already looks very different, more vital, fresh, rejuvenated and charming. And after all, it is these promises that prepare us best for the next bathing season. In the biological pool, right!
