Nature-based solutions such as biological swimming pools are part of global nature restoration activities, because they offer social services, that is, to people (the pleasure of bathing) and also provide an aquatic habitat for flora and fauna species. Therefore, the subject of biological pools is presented in a poster at the International Pond Conference 2024 with the theme: Ponds and pondscapes for biodiversity, climate and people (12 & 13 November 2024).

It is an honor that Bio Piscinas, Lda. was chosen to show the scientific community dedicated to researching natural ponds, all gathered in the PONDERFUL project, how biological pools contribute to the well-being of their users, in tune with the many aquatic living beings that are hosted there.
